I’m from colchester in essex there is no rave scene in essex anymore really. I dont go to norfolk though i go to london.

I know one of my old skool mates whos a good 15 years my senior was there at the beggining at one of the first raves at an abandoned airfield, and that was in essex, but then all the leah betts shit happened and it got too big and imploded. at least thats the way i see it.

Also my friend says that the older crew who she started raving with still go raving but do small parties, 50 odd people mainly of the older generation.

There’s quite a lot of acid techno in london, and theres old skool pretty much everywhere.

There’s a website, the address i can’t recall, Dales techno listings possibly, google it, it has listings for decent london clubs.
